ghaugabrook 17 Posted April 24 Posted April 24 (edited) As of 04/22/2025, my Apollo Group TV live TV and VOD stopped working in Emby. I use the startup show app and it's working there. In Emby, other services like Tubi and Pluto TV working. I've been using this setup for years without issue. Only yesterday my Apollo links stopped working. I rebooted and cache cleaned. I've tried with and without VPN. Hopefully, I have not missed a thread regarding any bans between Apollo and Emby. Is anyone experiencing this issue who's using Apollo? Any suggestions, because I'm have checked everything, I can think to check for now and don't have a clue as to why only my Apollo TV stopped working in Emby. Edited April 24 by ghaugabrook

ghaugabrook 17 Posted April 24 Author Posted April 24 Hi Luke, I'll send it when I get back home in about 10 hours. Thanks. 1
ghaugabrook 17 Posted April 24 Author Posted April 24 Here are the logs, Luke. Hope you can see what I'm missing. I've been a bit run down lately between long work hours and school. GH_embyserver.txt
ghaugabrook 17 Posted April 24 Author Posted April 24 I'll check back later. I have to jump on this class now.
Luke 39988 Posted April 25 Posted April 25 ffmpeg says unknown error when trying to reach the domain hosting the content. Not sure about that. Can you try rebooting the server machine?
darrenkdean 30 Posted April 25 Posted April 25 (edited) FYI: Apollo is cutting over to new domains. If you log into your Apollo Account it will likely prompt you to upgrade to their new complimentary Premium Tier, Premium Club. You don't have a choice. Immediately, your Apollo links will stop working. The Premium Club m3u URL provided in your transferred account won't work either, unless you use their suggested device level app. You have to contact support via the chat within Premium Club (Apollo will not help you). Get ready to wait at least an hour for a reply. Took me 12 hours to make contact with their support. Tech support will then give you a different URL that will point to your m3u. There's something different about the new m3u as IPTVeditor.com cannot interpret it, either by URL or by uploading the m3u file. Happened to me yesterday AM & worked on it until around 2AM ET this morning. Incredibly frustrated with Apollo. I keep a back up IPTV provider, & implemented that last night, while I work thru trying to figure out what to do with the hot mess Apollo has handed us. Edited April 25 by darrenkdean
ghaugabrook 17 Posted April 25 Author Posted April 25 (edited) Hi Luke and Darren, Thanks for the follow up guys. Long story short, it was all my fault. Luke, I told you I've been exhausted. The other night I moved my server to a different network and forgot to reestablish the path until I read your response. I've been just too tired to see it. LOL. I'm laughing my butt off. Emby could see the server but as you stated could not dial back. LOL!!! My Tubi and Pluto links run off my Linux server, and that's why they were still working in Emby. Darren, I'll visit Apollo today to check on what you've stated. If they are systematically doing what you've stated, it sounds like they may be trying to move towards a model like Hulu. The Startup show may start populating advertisements, unless you pay for the non-advertisements tier. It's my 3-day weekend but I'm about a week behind on schoolwork. Luke I'm going to update that other project tomorrow. I need to focus on school today while the house is empty. Thanks again guys! Edited April 25 by ghaugabrook 1
darrenkdean 30 Posted April 26 Posted April 26 The m3u from Premium Club (Apollo) imported into Dispatcharr (new tv proxy & m3u organizer in development) fine. Must be something about it not jiving with IPTVeditor. I've spun up an IPTVBoss container & will test it this week. As much as I like the native Live TV setup, the ISP's have begun throttling the IPTV providers & it's time, at least for me, to put the IPTV proxy behing a Gluetun container. Glad you got your situation worked out, at least until they cut you over, lol.

I asked about the link for the M3U because I was having issues. Pretty much was told it was my fault for not using their app. Kept pushing it and they got rude. I said I was pretty happy with this service up until now I would be sharing my experience with this forum. That resulted in a ban. Stay away.
