nradtke 0 Posted November 25, 2014 Share Posted November 25, 2014 I've decided to try out the Media Browser app on my Lumia 925 with the trial, but I can't get it to play any of the music reported by my server. Video streams fine, but all the music I select seems to just sit there and not respond when I hit play. Is this a limitation of the trial? When you try to play music and it does nothing, can you then go to the about page and email the logs to me, I'll have a look and see if there's anything funky going on. Also noticed (possibly related?) that all my artists only have one album "Three Days Grace" (actually do have this album under one artist), but when I swipe over to songs, all of them are properly listed. How does the same look on the web client? I suspect it's the metadata looking a little off. If it all looks ok in the web client, perhaps not, but I think it will be the same as on the phone. beeblemaster 0 Posted November 27, 2014 Share Posted November 27, 2014 I was curious about MediaBrowser when I saw it pop up on Windows Phone Central, so gave it a go. I'm having what could be exactly the same problem. Selecting play on music - sometimes it sends it to the "now playing" playlist, other times it don't, but whatever it does, the music refuses to play. Tested against Video and this plays fine. This is on a Lumia 520 connecting to a Windows 7 based server. Have tested using the web client from other PCs and appears to run fine, so seems to be an issue with the WP app. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ScottIsAFool 517 Posted December 4, 2014 Share Posted December 4, 2014 Question for @@nradtke and @@beeblemaster, when trying to start playing music, are you on your own network, and when you first connected with the app, did you do so with a manual connection (ie, without Media Browser Connect)?
