datadigger 0
Hello, the installation went through without problems, but the initial media scanning stalls at 53% for more than 20 hours. I don't believe that this is an usual behaviour even if it has to scan more than 250.000 objects. Where can I check if the server is still running, anything I can do? I think this the mediabrowser server service, looks like it is still running: PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND 24421 mediabro 20 0 1300m 1,0g 10m S 6,1 13,5 157:56.53 mono Edited November 25, 2014 by datadigger
Beardyname 194
going to localhost:8096/mediabrowser (standard port) if you can click around it means the server is still running, while you are at it if you check/post the logs you can probably see where it got "stuck". datadigger 0
Thanks for answering. I found uncountable ffmpeg error messages in the log like this: ffmpeg image extraction failed for file:"/media/2af110c0-2024-47f8-8d78-33a8500f1fb1/music/_Eingang/Musik/I miss you.mp3" The folder is of course of music type. I removed the music folder and will see if it completes the video folder. The scanning bar now rises. ./edit: The scan is now complete. Does anybody knows how to handle this ffmpeg error?
