RonB26 13 Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Hi @quickmic Lately I seem to be having an issue with Folder view when using the node emby_dynamic_mixedvideo_documentary's > folder_folder.xml In the past, all folders were listed as they are on the hard drives as well as Emby. This was working perfectly as I was unable to get collections to work at all, even though I had collections set up the same way as the folders. This is done because I have hundreds of documentaries that are mixed (Tvshows/Movies). I have them grouped on Emby and the Hard drive into 31 folders as opposed to hundreds. This just keeps it organized and simple. For example: Documentaries\Misc Crime\shows\docs Documentaries\Vietnam Docs\shows\docs Documentaries\WWII Docs\shows\docs (and so on, you get the idea) After updating from Emby Beta 4.9.0.23 to 4.9.0.27 This no longer works. I don't know if it was an Emby beta change or something else. I am currently using emby_next_gen 11.2 for Beta 4.9 (I have also tried older versions, and the issue persists). Device: 2017 Nvidia shield with Android TV SW Ver: 9.2.0 I can't use synced mode because there is no "mixed" option, as it lists both movies and tv shows as individual items and is simply a mess to scroll through and find anything. I just want to add that I really like the way this add-on works. Thank-You! Several dozen times I have had to wipe out Kodi and restore (Your add-on makes this a breeze!) This is because I'm chasing a memory leak that seems to have began with Kodi 21. Any more than 3 days and memory climbs to the point that Kodi will freeze and require a restart. I STILL have not found the issue. Any help is appreciated Sir, Ron
quickmic 1664 Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Please try the plugin's public testing version. The Emby server API has changed in one of the last beta versions and might be the reason.
RonB26 13 Posted April 16 Author Posted April 16 Sorry for the long post, and my mistake. Yes, I'm currently running Emby-for-Kodi-next-gen Public ver 11.2 and Emby beta 4.9.0.48. NOT 4.9.0.27 as posted. and the problem persists. I will try a factory reset and see if that helps. Thank you. 1
quickmic 1664 Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Ok, I'll check that. It shoudl work and I doubt a reset would help.
Solution quickmic 1664 Posted April 16 Solution Posted April 16 Seems to be an bug, I'll fix it in next version. 1
RonB26 13 Posted April 16 Author Posted April 16 Correct, Factory reset didn't work. Thanks for taking a look! 1
