CarlBuschmann 0 Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Hi there. my .strm files are not streaming. I created the .strm as pr the knowledge base and the metadata and title appear after a library scan - but when I try to play I get "No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details." As far as I can tell the logs do not tell me anything useful other than that the playback stopped, for no good reason. The file itself plays just fine, and it lives in the same share in Unraid as my Emby library, and Emby have access to the whole share. When I copy the actual file to my library it plays just fine. I suspect this is a user error, but here we are. What can I try? Also, can I make a .strm for a folder with lots of folders and files, or do it have to be file-by-file?
Luke 39648 Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
