Folder and File Naming Structure for sports

HI, 

 

 I have a pretty large collection for sports videos, specificaly pro-cycling.     Emby doesn't want to scan my folders correctly for the tour de france .  Ironicaly is has the directory for the Vuelta and the Giro scanned perfect.  I think it's because there are a lot of videos out there for the files scanner to identify as the Tour De France.  Really what I want is just folders,  so I can Identify the editions by year (which is how my folder's are organixed.   Can someone take a look at the folder structure and suggest the best way to fix this.   I realize this hasbeen covered all over these forums,  but i've no found anyone dealing with specifically sports related files.

Hi, what exactly is the problem?

i get 4 large library folders Tour de France season 1 through 4  with everything in them as opposed to the the actual file layout of 15 folders with the files associsted with them as the file stucture is. Not sure theres such thing as season one for the TDF but it seems to be grabbing "Tour De France Unchained" for which there is 2 seasons.   I can clear the Identity,  but all that does is bring it down to 2 folders filled with everything.

its a fairly simple file/folder structure,  i'd be happy to have it be just that,  but folder view doesn't let me see that

@coacharnoldhow did you setup the library in Emby library setup? I would suggest using the home videos content type.
