RLanger7228 56 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 As I get my new Emby server up & running, adding new users, I would like to track who is actually using the service. When I go to the Activity screen (SETTINGS>DASHBOARD>ACTIVITY), I see all the individual events, along with who is executing them (SS 1). However, Since I have been streaming music at work lately, there are literally hundreds of these events, creating pages & pages in the activity log - tedious to scroll through looking for other user's activity. What I think would be helpful, is to have an option to group all this activity by USER, so instead of seeing all the individual events listed on the main screen, I could see all the USERs who accessed the server, then click on the USER to see their individual activity. 1
darkassassin07 619 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 I'd recommend taking a look at the 'playback reporting' plugin available in the plugin catalog. It has several tabs, graphs, and tables for viewing who played what, when, and how, that you can sort or filter by user and search through pretty easily. The summary tab in particular will let you view the info you asked for; a list of user activities that you can sort/filter by user. 1

I tried to find this in the plugin catalogue, but couldn't. Maybe it is not available for my Synology NAS server? FEATURE REQUEST: It would be helpful if the plugin catalogue had a search function.
Luke 40017 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 I think a user filter could make sense. Also when clicking on a user in user setup, being able to see this same information for that user. So almost like that screen becomes a dashboard for that one user and not just their permissions. 4 2
