The announcement "Media Browser Server 3.0.5416 Beta Released"

Under "Bugs Resolved:" it stated:

"Music videos not showing up on artist page"

This does not appear to have been resolved.

I have set both "artist" and "album artist". The videos are .mp4. The tags were set using foobar 2000.

P.S. foobar links with with artist name

it is resolved but all we're talking here is values you see in the metadata manager. if you fix those you'll see them show up. that's the scope of this issue. nothing to do with tags in video files.

Not sure whether I fully understand and what is the scope of the "fix".

Some albums include video files (MP4 or M4V), which are tagged and part of an album. These video files do not show under the actual album and also do not show under "musicvideos" either.

Was this supposed to be addressed by the "fix" and is there anything further that I can provide you for troubleshooting? Thanks!

Go to a music video -> click edit -> enter artist name(s) that exactly match artist names that are found in song tags. Then go view the artist and you should see the music videos. Before they were not appearing. Now they are. That is the fix and that is all that this particular issue is about.

Ah, got it. So, "my issue" is not addressed yet. I have not added anything as "Musicvideos", so this "fix" does not help me. All my musicvideos are added as "Music" (as they are part of a music album). So, these are still not being recognized up by MBS?
