Orru89 0 Posted March 1 Posted March 1 ¡Buenas tardes!
Carlo 4543 Posted March 2 Posted March 2 The ffmpeg log is showing the reason for transcode as not having a 2 channel AC3 audio track with the correct language. The log shows the stream information ffmpeg encounter as being different from the server's MediaSourceInfo data. The following differences were found: #0 Video H264 eng AspectRatio: 639:272 <=> 47:20 Then, while processing the DTS audio, it's logging a ton of the errors. 17:36:38.989 [matroska @ 0x4cc8210] Non-monotonous DTS in output stream 0:1; previous: 2011, current: 2000; changing to 2011. This may result in incorrect timestamps in the output file. 17:36:39.115 [matroska @ 0x4cc8210] Non-monotonous DTS in output stream 0:1; previous: 4090, current: 4080; changing to 4090. This may result in incorrect timestamps in the output file. 17:36:39.260 [matroska @ 0x4cc8210] Non-monotonous DTS in output stream 0:1; previous: 5754, current: 5744; changing to 5754. This may result in incorrect timestamps in the output file. In a nutshell at least for this King Kong video the file itself has issues. Some of the Chromecast devices you have might handle DTS, which may allow playback without the transcoding and may be able to handle the out of spec file. I would try running the file through mkclean or MKVToolNix both found here: https://www.matroska.org/downloads/mkclean.html
Orru89 0 Posted March 8 Author Posted March 8 No, the problem happens with many files, but not with all of them. I've have not tried what @Carlorecommended me as I don't really know how to use MkClean or MKVToolNix. But if it need to be done with every failing file it might be "too much work". Thanks anyway!
Carlo 4543 Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Try downloading them. Open MKVToolNix and drag a file(s) over it and drop.
