arpanrec 0 Posted February 25 Posted February 25 I understand there are 25 device limit in emby premium and I can not knock them out selectively(https://emby.media/support/articles/Premiere-Limits.html), but what if I delete all devices in server's devices tab, independent of if it is using premium or not, will it fix the problem?
Solution darkassassin07 619 Posted February 25 Solution Posted February 25 No. The devices list in your server does not track premier use. The ONLY way is to wait 2 weeks for devices to fall of the list internally tracked at emby.media YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY ZERO CONTROL OR VIEW OF THIS. you can only wait. 1

Thanks by the way.

Quote How long does a device count towards my limit? The system tracks device usage for about a week. 8 minutes ago, arpanrec said: I think this is supercritical info that should have been included in (https://emby.media/support/articles/Premiere-Limits.html) Isn't it already included? From the same link/KB article: Quote How do I "knock" a device off the list? You can't. The system tracks this automatically. Note, the devices you see listed in the "Devices" section of your dashboard are not your Premiere devices. Edited February 25 by GrimReaper
darkassassin07 619 Posted February 25 Posted February 25 Did that get reduced recently? I know there's been changes expanding the device limits from 25 to 30; could have sworn it was 2 weeks previously.

The system tracks device usage for about a week. So you need to count only devices used regularly by your users when estimating the limit for you. It is important to understand this is a device access limit NOT a concurrent connection limit. Yep, I am blind as a bat, confirmed, Well L.
