kostaz 1 Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Hello. I have created a playlist for the Marvel collection. It contains movies and TV show episodes in a certain order. When I open the playlist via the browser, everything is fine. However, when I try to open the playlist using Kodi, I encounter two issues: 1. when I use a dynamic playlist, the movies and episodes are separated into two folders/playlists. 2. when I use the playlist, I get ordered by Kodi and it doesn't look like my order. Why do I get separating in a dynamic playlist?
quickmic 1610 Posted February 6 Posted February 6 I'll check that, did you try using the synced playlists?

"synced playlists" - is a playlist that Kodi sees as xxx.m3u? In the Kodi UI, I see only two options (usually playlist [xxx.m3u], dynamic playlist). Edited February 6 by kostaz
quickmic 1610 Posted February 6 Posted February 6 First, I assume you use latest 11.X versions of the plugin. There is under plugin' synced nodes a playlist selections which should be used. As a fallback yes, you can also use the m3u's but obviously you need to sync the playlist library. -> As any other library.
kostaz 1 Posted February 6 Author Posted February 6 (edited) Oh, I understood you! Your "synced playlist" is my xxx.m3u . Yes, when I synced my playlist library, the playlist was not separated as I had written. But when I tried to use the synced playlist, Kodi sorted it by name. This means that Kodi changed the order of the playlist items.(For example, the first item should be Iron Man. However, when Kodi order the playlist, I get s1e3 of "I Am Groot" in the first position.) . I read that it is impossible to save the order in a synced playlist because it is a copy of the Emby playlist in the Kodi database and Kodi. Also, I attached a photo of the plugin version. In the second photo, on the second row, I see "synced playlists", followed by a dynamic playlists, and the text from the previous paragraph about it. Spoiler Edited February 6 by kostaz
quickmic 1610 Posted February 11 Posted February 11 (edited) I can confirm the issue. It affects playlists with mixed content. I'll fix the sort order in next version, but only for videos. Kodi cannot handle music/video mixed types and therefore they must be split. Edited February 11 by quickmic 1
