HappyGilmour 7 Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Hi, I am an Emby Premiere user. I am looking to setup IPTV with DVR/NVR functionality using Emby. I have a pretty good provider. So I am looking for suggestions as to what products or settings to use for watching the channels and recording the channels. I would like to be able to watch something I am also recording (but this is not a deal breaker.) I DO need to be able to record several channels at the same time from my IPTV provider. They say they allow 10 simultaneous connections so I assume I can record up to 10 channels at a time (assuming proper bandwidth, CPU, etc.) If there is already an article about this....I apologize...I couldn't find it. If you could just point me in the right direction. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you! Don Morgan

But I am experiencing freezing on multiple channels. It will play about 10 seconds and then freeze. Doesn't happen on all channels but I would say about 1/2 the channels I am interested in. I had read some things in other places that led me to believe I had to use a third party app for DVR recording. I see I was wrong about that. Sorry. So my issue is really just the freezing. I have 800 Mbit connection so it isn't a bandwidth issue. Thanks in advance.

Thanks!
HappyGilmour 7 Posted February 5 Author Posted February 5 Thank you so much for taking the time to look into this. Log is attached. Please let me know if you need the general log and not the issue specific log. Thanks again. ffmpeg-directstream-e8c3d359-43ee-4261-88c5-ac1ef0a7af5e_1.txt
HappyGilmour 7 Posted February 7 Author Posted February 7 So this appeared to be provider specific. Thank you again for your help. I am looking at other providers. 1
HappyGilmour 7 Posted March 15 Author Posted March 15 Sorry just seeing this. I found that trying a different provider the issue went away. So it was definitely linked to that provider. I was I a trial of their service so I chose not to use them. Unfortunately I am having an issue with the new provider but that is in another post. Thank you for following up. Don 1
