Hello,

So, I usually use the web app, but decided to open the windows app to check something out, and as soon as it opened, I immediately noticed that something was off. Everything seemed blurry.

So I decided to compare it with the Web app, and my eyes weren't lying.

Here is an example (web app left, win app right):

EdgevsWinApp.png.d27536195ddf51556d732803f8109bc4.png

Name:    Emby Windows
Version:    2.211.2.0
Device Name:    MSI-PS42
Device Id:    <removed>
Package:    EmbyMedia.EmbyTheater_svmepx4c03f7m

So... why is everything so blurry on the Windows app?

Best regards,

Huh... that's strange... it's no longer blurry, and I haven't even "closed it and opened it again".

Any reason why it could have been blurry for a couple minutes?

Edit: for added context, it's running Windows 10 with all drivers up to date on a laptop MSI PS42 8RX (the app is loading on the Intel 620 iGPU, not the nVidia MX150 dGPU).

It was the 1st time in a loooong time since I had last opened the app, I don't know if that's worth mentioning.

Also... loading the web app is almost instant (I'm using Edge webapp), yet loading the win app takes "forever" (10 seconds, or 8 seconds if I hide the animation).

The image resolution is determined by the window size. If you start with a small window, images have a lower resolution. When you increase the size of the window, the images or not reloaded, but when you browse further through the library, newly loaded images will have a higher resolution (due to the higher window size.

You can reproduce this with the web app as well (use two different browsers to eliminate caching effects) when you start one in a very small window and another one in a large window.
