The latest version of Windows Emby has appeared on many laptops I use. The program starts normally, and the content can be seen loaded normally in the taskbar, but the application window cannot be seen on the desktop.

Can you try to right-click on the taskbar thumbnail and choose "Maximize" or "Restore"?

Do you or did you have multiple displays connected (e.g. TV)?

Tried it, but it didn't work. I can only reset in the installed apps

And I only have one screen

Thanks.

Do you have an idea why this might happen?

i.e. in which sitation - what are you doing before it happens?

After resetting, it opens normally, and after multiple times. Not sure if it is related to long-term dormancy. After a certain dormancy, when the application is restarted, this situation will occur. Completely random, can not be stably reproduced

What do you mean by "dormancy"? Did you exit the app or minimize it?

Do not close emby and perform windows hibernation.

There are also several times that it appears after using rdp.

I can't figure out what it's about. Next I'll try to reproduce it

Unfortunately I can't do that because it doesn't work on my machine (neither sleep).

But let's try something else. Next time when it happens, please PM me the settings file:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Packages\EmbyMedia.EmbyTheater_svmepx4c03f7m\Settings\settings.dat

@softworkzI'm having the same issue; I've sent you a PM

@softworkzI've just found that if I create a new desktop (I'm on Win10) and move the app to the new desktop, I'm able to see it. After doing this I moved it back to desktop 1 and removed desktop 2 and I was still able to use the app

Not sure why this works, and it's obviously not a fix, but I thought it might be useful information.

Theres's an upcoming attempt to fix this. It will be in 2.116.0 or later.

Thanks
