Collections reverse

Hiya.  when we make a collection we are given two sort options - Title A-Z  or release date old to young

I would very much like a release date young to old so same thing, just the newer ones first.

Hi, which client app are you referring to?

For the webapp, once you sort by Release Date or Year, just click again to reverse the order:

yes, i understand that, it's there, you can do that - im talking about the default view -  I want the newest displayed first at the top - its a waste every time clicking buttons unnecessarily.  it's not a big ask is it, in all other software you just click release date again and it reverses

I'm not following, isn't that what I just suggested? It works the same with Emby.

Not for the default.  I have a lot of devices i want them to open in the correct order.  The default in the back end is old to young.  If we can do it in the app, why not server side too?
