Libraries Missing A-Z On The Side?

Hello, just noticed that the browsers have that feature. Yet when I use a app in ATV or Roku it's missing in any library. Is there a reason for this? If you have a large library it makes things harder to navigate.

Second question does Emby have a watchlist? I see favorites, but don't want to put things I maybe want to watch there.

Don't have the client but first question will be what sort order you are using as alpha picker only exist on one order, Title in all other clients.

As for watchlist no Emby currently does not have one.

Sort order is just title. Does anything Emby app have this? Doesn't seem that odd. Seems more odd that it's missing and only in the web app.

Most of the Emby client apps do have this feature.

Might only be the Apple TV app missing it as this stage. Has previously been discussed at length for a while now:

Wow a really old post that Emby completely ignored. Another reason not to go for Emby. Good to see Emby just ignores posts. One was from 2018 the other 2022. Yet we're in 2024 and still missing A-Z. I didn't see it on the Roku too, that one I might be wrong though.

The Apple TV client is appalling, and it's very clear that Emby simply doesn't care. This feature really is dead obvious to the point of being a requirement more than a feature.

The support for Apple TV is so shitty that if I could get a refund on my premier license, I would switch to Plex.

A bot will come along shortly and repeat the mantra that we've been hearing for 6+ years:

"We're working on it."
