Hi friend, an observation each time that I restart kodi emby collections will start is this normal, is there any option in e4k that I need to turn off  which will prevent the sync every time that kodi re-start.

No, that's not normal. Can you please run a test an a PC with a stock Kodi installation? I think there might be something going on in your Kodi config.

I just installed Kodi on windows OS, I restart severally the issue collections rescanning each time is not noticed, I think for LE something is not right

Pardon my initial comments, I was wrong, Box collection scan is present in Windows, each time that I restart it rescan

The log reports the Boxset updates yes but why do you think that's not correct? Obviously Emby server reported updates and I cannot see any issues in the log.

Did you check the server logs? Is there a task running refreshing the Boxsets?

Hi, I think he will have an easier time helping you if you can provide some description of what your problem actually is. Additionally that looks like a really old build number so I would suggest updating to the latest.

Hi, server update yesterday to 4.9.1.34. Now i can't play any files, there is no network activity on my server (i see the actually download/upload speed). With the official EMBY app playback works fine. i have tested your last v11 and v12 version from the EMBY Next Gen plugin, both no more working for me since the EMBY server update.

Also after the update my Discord bot "collapsed" and spammed the Discord channel. All my content was posted as new content,

It was my fault, rebooted the LAN splitter and now it works fine again.

Is there a way to pick which live tv group to sync into kodi?  

I only want to sync the virtual tv group, and exclude the nextpvr group since I have the kodi plugin for that.  I like to use emby’s nextpvr livetv on my roku’s.

Not possible at the moment, but maybe you can hide/adjust them in iptvsimple plugin config settings?

I could not find a way to hide the individual group with the iptv simple settings, but I am able to hide the the group through the kodi pvr settings.  

Would you happen to know if it is better (performance-wise) for me to keep using the nextpvr addon through kodi or sync the channels from emby?

Hey @quickmic, new problem. Kodi on Corelec has gone FUBAR. The base kodi seems to be ok, but the e4k install is a mess and I'm I'm trying to 'reset' e4k database. I get to the "database reset required, wait for kodi restart" message.... but restart never happens. I've tried a few times now. Any other way to accomplish a fresh e4k sync? I've got remote access, and ssh via putty but have no idea where the db file on stored in the Coreelec ecosystem. Any help greatly (as always) appreciated.

 

Nevermind. I found the db files. The problem seems to be it was trying to delete cached thumbs one at a time rather than just rm -r each thumb directory... with 19g of thumbnails that's gonna take a minute. I rm'd each sub directory in a few seconds, killed the relavent db files and now am all set. Thanks for all your work on the whole e4k extravaganza, much appreciated.
