AGhost 0
I'll have to take your word on that cause that's beyond my skill level. Now this environment variable what is that exactly? By the way thanks for the feedback and help.

MediaMogal 19
Noticed Emby attempted to update 4 times without success I'm not seeing any issues with the server itself. Plugins do automatically update though. As you can see, http requests to both github and our admin domain are coming back "resource temporarily unavailable". As this is happening with more than one domain, this suggests you have something on your system blocking or tampering with those requests, such as firewall, security software, or VPN.
MediaMogal 19
More likely like you said the update has to be done for the AUR side when they push the latest update. bet bottom dollar they're still post the 4.50 and not the 4.51. Right now I have no security software of any kind. EDIT: just checked Pamac and yea they're still on 4.50. Now about those instructions in the first post. Like I said I read that post several times and there are no Arch instructions.

alucryd 214
I would hardly call 2 minor versions very, very outdated, but I suppose I forgot the Arch Linux package with what's been happening lately. It is now up to date.

There is nothing in the hardware-acceleration-overview that states whether or not my configuration should support it. Hence the ask about potential missing dependencies. I have a xeon system (no igpu) and am relying on nvenc/nvdec solely (quadro p4000) for hardware acceleration. Any further information would be greatly appreciated. softworkz 3326
ffdetect is there to detect video hardware acceleration. On Linux, it can detect VAAPI, QSV, Nvidia and AMF. From my state of knowledge, none of those are supported on arm platforms, that's why we don't have an ffdetect binary for arm. But things can change, that's why I was asking whether there's a specific case you are up to.
