NEW YORK — Nov. 12, 2014 — On Wednesday, Microsoft Corp. reinforced its commitment to cross-platform developer experiences by open sourcing the full server-side .NET stack and expanding .NET to run on the Linux and Mac OS platforms

Interesting. I wonder what this means for the mono project.

 

Also, I wonder how this will change things for MBS in the future.

 

And will we get to see MBT on Linux???  :)  That would be awesome.

The .NET SERVER stack is being open sourced,  so no luv for MBT
