Does not automatically continue to next episode (time line shows 1 sec

On the Roku, Emby won't automatically move to the next episode (time line shows 1 second remaining).

Now playing in the server still shows the episode, even after "home" is pressed on the remote.

Tried with Emby on Xbox, and it did automatically move to the next episode.

Looks like playback time is longer than video time

Hi.  There is a lot of discussion about this out here but you don't ever want to do that on a Roku while media is playing.  The server will eventually figure out the Roku is gone but that platform doesn't give the app any warning when you press that button.  It just kills it.

As for the root issue, this is likely a known situation with some content that we are looking into.  Can you reproduce it with this same episode?

To clarify, I usually will press back after the video stops (like I described) to go back a few screens (usually to the emby main screen) then I'll push home.

I probably can reproduce is, as it looks like it happens with multiple episodes.  Would doing a server restart, then watching the video help as far as the logs go?

Hi, yes and please also follow the instructions to submit a log from the Emby Roku app:

Thanks.

@davedickCan you share that file with us via dropbox, google drive, or similar? Would need the exact file to reproduce your issue then we will know what is causing this. I cannot reproduce with any files I have locally unless transcoding. Yours appears to cause the issue while direct playing. Can you please share with us? Thanks. ;)

Not sure where I could upload the file because of the type it is.  That being said, When I made the OP, I used DvdFab 13 to rip and noticed it had a audio/mouth sync issue, so I used MakeMkv to re-rip.

Now here's what's interesting, I have two different Roku's

4800x Roku Ultra and 4662 RW Roku Ultra LT.

The 4800x doesn't freeze, but the 4662 does.

Anyone consistently having this issue, can you test with the latest beta server?
