Emby 4.8.8.0 two issues

I encountered the following two issues on Emby 4.8.8.0 

- Adding to favorites shows two instances of a song and removing the song from favorites removes both instances

- Playing a file doesn't load the correct name for the song. You have to select the song again to see its correct name.

 

Both of these two issues are shown in the following video taken on an Android phone.

The "favorite" issue is also reproducible on Samsung TV where two instances are added/removed for the same song.

No. As shown in the video, there is only one copy of the song.

OK can you try removing the music library from Emby library setup, running a full library scan to clean out the database, and then adding it back? please see if that helps. Thanks !

I completely removed the Music library and added it again.

The issue with not correctly loading the song names is resolved. However, the issue with favorite song is still persist. I have to add that favorite songs were available again without my marking them as favorites.

@LukeI figured it out what it is. There are two instance of the file in the folder, but there is also a bug with Emby that somehow links the two files together. If I make favorite each of them, both are getting favorited and vice-versa, as shown in the following screen recording.

They are the same song with two different file names. Please have a look at the video I put in that post above.

OK so this is normal then, based on the way user data is stored for songs.
