Racerprose 27 Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Hi, I have noticed an annoying problem withy Emby 2.2.22 on iOS where after launching the app shortly after just navgating the app the loading icon will appear as if it is restarting itself. Happens every time after initial launch of the app. Using latest iOS 17.5.1 1

polu 1 Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 I noticed the same behavior. If I close the app and immediately reopen it, it doesn't happen. But after closing the app, waiting a few hours, it does happen. I think the video from the previous post illustrates it well. If more examples are needed, I'm happy to provide one. It's not really a big issue, but very odd to see the app load twice.

Racerprose 27 Posted June 18, 2024 Author Posted June 18, 2024 Yeah for me I will open Emby and start a movie or TV show. It will begin to play. Then the Emby circle loading image will appear and it will go back to the Emby home screen, but the movie is still playing audio in the background. I have to hit the resume button and it will show.
AmericanMike 13 Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 I too have this problem with the same version. I will open Emby, and after about 10 seconds it restarts then it operates fine. Not sure where I could locate logs for this to upload to the team.

Tremas 165 Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 Just to confirm, I am having the same problem on iOS 17.5.1 on an iPhone 12. As above, it takes about 10 seconds before emby (2.2.22) restarts.

I have reinstalled the app as well and confirm my issue has gone away. I have been testing this on and off for the last 5 hours with great results. 1
