bryananderson 8 Posted September 27, 2024 Author Posted September 27, 2024 Hi Luke, bad news. After 2 days 4.8.9 crashed with the same network error: System.Net.NetworkInformation.NetworkInformationException: System.Net.NetworkInformation.NetworkInformationException (0x80004005): An error was encountered while querying information from the operating system. I have attached the full log. embyserver_4.8.9arm_crash.txt
bryananderson 8 Posted October 11, 2024 Author Posted October 11, 2024 Tried 4.8.10, same result... I'm giving up, switching to Jellyfin. Sorry guys, been a loyal Emby user for 8+ years but I can't keep nursing this along with restart scripts, etc. Best of luck to you.
Luke 40096 Posted October 11, 2024 Posted October 11, 2024 Hi, there is another network event that we can stop listening to on macOS. The combination of disabling both of them will resolve this. Thanks. 1

The most important example being if the server LAN IP address changes with your router. so that is why I’ve been reluctant to completely disable them on macOS because it means you’ll need to restart Emby server in order for it to pick up these changes. So I tried disabling one of them, and apparently that’s not enough so we’ll just have to disable both of them.
