jkatlanta 3 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 I have a number of programs that exist on IMDB.com but when I use the Identify feature the metadata does not sync. I verify the URL title # ttxxxxxxx and the information is not retrieved.
pwhodges 1714 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 IMDB is not used to provide metadata (they charge too much); but the IMDB id can be used as a key for lookups on other metadata providers. Which metadata provider is first in the list for the library concerned, and does it have metadata for the programs at issue? Paul
jkatlanta 3 Posted January 9 Author Posted January 9 (edited) I took a screen shot of this library's settings. Thanks for any help. Edited January 9 by jkatlanta

Luke 38502 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 @jkatlantaI assume this is a TV series since this is a TV library, right? Can you try using the Identify feature with the tvdb id? Please let us know if this resolves your issue. Thanks !
jkatlanta 3 Posted January 30 Author Posted January 30 The TV Show exists in the TVDB when I use the ID # to identify Emby responded with: "No items matching your search criteria were found."

jkatlanta 3 Posted January 30 Author Posted January 30 I took the 4 digit number shown on thetvdb.com and typed the 4 digits into the empty slot in the Identify dialog box for TheTVDB. Am I supposed to type something more?
Luke 38502 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Please provide a specific example and attach the emby server log: How to Report a Problem Thanks.
