Blue Kachina 12
Perhaps I'm really picky about the way that I organize my media, and if that's the case, then feel free to call me out on it.I like to keep multi-disc albums organized into their own sub-folders though: ArtistAlbumDisc 1 Disc 2 It would seem as though MediaBrowser doesn't support this type of organization.Would love to see this kind of support added.
Blue Kachina 12
After looking into this further, it would seem as though the web-client is properly picking up that album as 2 separate discs (using aforementioned folder structure).Neither the android client, nor MediaBrowser classic clients are recognizing it however. rickster53 27
I used to keep my multi-disc albums in the structure that you described but I decided to change it... I kept the discnumber tag in each song but decided to combine the mult-foldered structure into a single folder containing all songs. With that, songs now get numbered as "discnumber.songnumber title Ie: 1.1 Title 1 On Disc 1 1.2 Title 2 On Disc 1 1.3 Title 3 On Disc 1 . . . 2.1 Title 1 On Disc 2 2.2 Title 2 On Disc 2 2.3 Title 3 On Disc 2 . . . etc.
Redshirt 1487
Blue Kachina. I just ran across this with my own music library. I'll make sure Android supports them rather than getting tripped up by a folder. There's also the issue of the items being misrecognized by the server depending on whether the nested album is the only album for that artist.
Blue Kachina 12
Thanks guys.Good suggestions for naming conventions @rickster53.And @Redshirt, the Android app is coming along amazing!Glad to hear that I'm not the only one running into this problem, and that you think it's something that can be resolved. reguila 2
Hi Guys, What about disc covers? If i use the structure artist/album/cd1 and artist/album/cd2, it messes artist with album or appears as 2 albuns with the same name, but i'm able to get both disc art images. If i use the structure artist/album and name the files 1./2. ... i can only get disc art for one of the discs. How do you guys solve this issue?
