I have a case of subtitles being off by 30 secs and there is no way to fix it.  Could there be a secs, tenth secs, etc.,  offset input in addition to ms?

Hi, just curious, how does this situation even happen? 30 seconds is a bit extreme...

Based on OPs other topic - guess would be hash matching disabled, bad version IMDB match (as in HDTV vs. Web-DL), parts of the video cut-off (Previously On...)

Edit: @LukeWhile we're at it, maybe Hash>IMDB Id>Name logic should be reworked to Hash>File name>IMDB Id as filename is more likely than not to contain scene naming (as in BrRip/DVDRip/WebRip/Web-DL/HDTV etc.), it'd likely eliminate certain percentage of false/out-of-sync positives.

Yes, an algorithm as smart as possible would be nice.  I've coded such things before.  I could play with algorithms and let you now what I come up with.  I wouldn't have to get involved with your code at all.  Hopefully there is some decent metadata in the srt files to match up with the video info.  File length alone could work nicely.

Let me know if you are interested.

I meant file duration, not length.

I think what I'd like to do is just change the adjustment to a slider so that you can hold down the left or right key to go a long way.

If it matters, I have found this problem on only one series.  I was frustrated at the time I made this request.  Having said that, it would still be a nice feature.

Speaking of offsets, is there a way to specify offsets in ROKU?  I have set up correct offsets in the web app (clicking 20 times to get one second) and it works.  But then roku doesn't respect those offsets.  I can't find anything in the ROKU UI.

The offsets are currently not remembered, although this idea has come up before and is possible for the future. Thanks.

my five cents here:

I have the same issues sometimes. The issue is not really that I cannot make jumps. The issue would be my on my side. My TV is a Philips.Android which is already sihtty hardware wise ;) and on top bloaded.root with APKs which makes is even more sluggish. On top of that -> the Remote Control is absolute garbage. So ticking right keys a "couple of times" is a little nerve recking....

AND I know-> Immediate solution is: get a new TV ;)

Though, I don't have a suggestion on how to make this issue better, I would like to show up that this can be an issue. Also, sliding through all the Languages to scroll back and forth your desired languages is also an issue on my part. Why not filter the countries you have no desire of? Would make scrolling and switching between the languages much much easier. Maybe reducing this process to a button.clientside that searches and downloads all the preset languages and possibilites? That way one could remove the whole language selection part on the client. I mean if the movie is like 34 Gigs - who cares if there are 2 or 4 SRTs ea 430KB on the drive .....

hope that I make sense here...
