Preferred Hardware Decoders/Encoders Missing

Having the exact same issue in 4.7.11.

Ubuntu 22.04, 13700k

Happens in both native install and in a docker (with /dev/dri passed as a device).

Emby user is in video and render groups.

Everything works fine for both Plex and Jellyfin. Emby used to work, not sure when it stopped.

@deanrbennett can you please attach the emby server and hardware detection log files? What does your docker run command look like? Have you compared it to our guide here?

Here are the log files for the main server running on bare metal, and the docker script for the other server. Both have the identical issue, both running 4.7.11. Note: updating the main server to 4.8.0.21-beta fixed the issue, but I downgraded back for now.

OK so yes this issue is resolved in the upcoming 4..8 server release. Thanks.
