New-

It includes a system tray icon that works the same as the windows one. it creates a desktop icon which should launch the system tray icon.

cd /etc/yum.repos.d/
sudo wget http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:jose-pr/Fedora_20/home:jose-pr.repo
yum install MediaBrowserServer

OLD-

OK i think i was able to use git as a repo, if this works i will add it to the official git.

you can get the repo with:

 sudo wget -N https://raw.githubus...ver-Stable.repo -P /etc/yum.repos.d

then

sudo yum install MediaBrowserServer.noarch

to run the server

sudo systemctl start MediaBrowserServer

(need to wait a while after first start for the server to download ffmpeg)

http://localhost:8096/mediabrowser/ <- visit the webpage as it wont open automatically because it is run as a service under a system user.

I need people to test this to see if it worked.

After a lot of trouble i was able to get some screenshots and more data. IT works on the newer versions of software-gnome and package manager that use appstream data . For now Fedora 21 seems to work but it is kind of buggy at least in my computer to get it to show.5440ac45bc33c_metadata.png
