pcunha 5
Suppose you have just created an API key with Emby and you want to copy it to another app. While it is straightforward to select the key and copy it with a desktop browser, I cannot copy it using a mobile browser such as Google Chrome and Samsung Internet browser. When you try to select it, it opens the dialog message to delete the key. Minor feature request: Make this text easily selectable or simply adding a "Copy" button to facilitate this task. sydlexius 236
Speaking for myself, a long press on a specific API Key brings up a menu that lets you copy it.
Solution Luke 36886 Posted December 4, 2022 Solution Share Posted December 4, 2022 HI, have you setup https with your emby server? The option to copy the api key to the clipboard is only available when browsing within a secure context (https or localhost). Otherwise the browser restricts access to the clipboard so it's not possible.
pcunha 5
I had no idea these things would be related. Thanks for the feedback.
