feeling dumb - can't enter IP and port using remote

I can't get a zero to enter as one of the numbers of a port, it keeps putting a space. I finally figured out the old school multiple press to get a 1. But zero doesn't seem to work that way.

I almost threw my remote through the window when I first setup the app and glad I haven't had to do that again.  The password was the worst.  I wonder if you can hook up a keyboard if you could enter the info that way.  It's been awhile but I thought mine auto detected the ip/port
