Thanks for the suggestion, but that only works for a use case like yours where you use a third party tool with an external EPG source. This thread is about using Emby's internal guide data.

This thread is about using Emby's internal guide data. you can use emby internal guide data with external tools too, you just set everything up in iptvboss so it matches emby internal data when loaded
bruor 35 Posted July 19, 2024 Posted July 19, 2024 I was just responding here to share a fairly easy way I found to search the content of the drop down list if trying to map a channel manually. I'm working on a script to modify my provider m3u so that the tvg-id is populated with the correct channel id that exists in emby's data.
