Playing back 4k movie via Chromecast with Google TV client. Noticed the video was stuttering - sure enough 4k transcode in progress.
Checked the playback quality - it was 80Mbps. After manually setting it to 100Mbps (which was the highest listed), it started direct playing and stutter went away.

1) why does Emby prefer transcode in situations where it's not necessary;
2) how to avoid this situation in the future?
3) this is more of a feature request, but wouldn't it be easier for the users if there was also a shortcut quality preset in the dropdown called 'Max'? I personally don't care about the bitrate, I just care I get the best quality available.
