dougw03 16
I am using SABNZBD + Emby. One feature SAB has is the ability to start transferring a media file into my library before it finishes downloading. This is a major time saver, however, it's frequently possible that the media file will get stuck and never complete downloading after the unpacking process has started. This leaves a half completed file in the library which Emby does not know what to do with. SAB has a feature which will put a special marker file in the library folder and delete it once the download is verified as complete. Can Emby's scan media library engine look for this file and skip importing until that marker file is deleted? Here's the documentation on the nomedia_marker - https://sabnzbd.org/wiki/configuration/3.6/special.
Luke 37008
Hi, it's possible for future updates. Thanks.
Solution RaptorCentauri 49 Posted October 23, 2022 Solution Share Posted October 23, 2022 @dougw03 It looks like you can specify the actual no_media marker value in sabnzbd. Settings -> Special -> Values -> no_media marker(). Set that value to '.ignore' which is the Emby version of 'nomedia'

FYI @Luke it would be nice if we didn't need to know this somewhat esoteric workaround. Hope to get this natively supported soon!
Happy2Play 8242
That is good you can configure to our already supported .ignore method as it is hard to know everyone's method of doing this. Emby Excluding Files & Folders :
