kellerduell 3
Hello all, Recently I've had the problem that on my LG TV the Emby app no longer plays some files, a spinning circle is visible and the error message "Playback error - No compatible streams are currently available." If I play the files with the browser, then everything runs. The server runs on a QNAP NAS and the latest Emby version 4.7.8.0 is installed. Does anyone have any advice? How I can get Emby running on the LG again? embyserver.txt ffmpeg-transcode-5a059799-5c9e-4cc2-b827-0ddc9ef2c5e5_1.txt Edited October 7, 2022 by kellerduell

As soon as it gets through LG review. It will be 1.0.37, or greater if they happen to fail the current submission for whatever reason.

kellerduell 3
A few minutes ago I've updated the server to 4.7.11.0 but it doesn't help. The bug is the same..... ...the circle turns round and round and so on, over 1 Minute and then the same "Playback Error". ManelN 0
Hi Luke. It doesn't work for me either. And in the control panel it does not appear as reproduction. If I change the audio, playback appears and I can see that it plays but it tells me that it does DTS direct (LG APP cannot) so I indicate DTS audio again in LG APP and it stops and AC3 direct appears on the control panel. ManelN 0
Now it shows, time after not playing, the playback in truehd continues to show on the panel (it also happens with DTS), the "No" playback, Ironman DTS in APP LG Attached photo
kellerduell 3
In my case, the error message comes when I activate the subtitles. If they are not activated, the LG app plays the video.

kellerduell 3
Hello Luke, this setting, that the check mark was set has shown effect. There were no playback errors during the first test and the subtitles were also displayed. Since I do not have so much time today I will test it tomorrow more extensively. Since I still have a film in memory, which also had playback problems. Will report soon...
FredrikT 22
Interesting. I have the same exact problem, but I have this option enabled. For me this problem is with all my media files. Also on a brand new LG tv
