@TeamB Note if you write nfo files you will need to delete them as identified items will reread the nfo.

Only on effected library folder.

no nfo files

But will my watched status be reset?

Watched/Played can only be lost on items without providerids as we are dependent on original database ids.

Note also retested with Adult content enable and still identified via foldername.

@TeamBWhat is your system.xml  <CollapseVideoFolders> and library options.xml <CollapseSingleItemFolders> values?

Also are there any loose items in the \Kid Movies folder?

are these switches available from the UI settings anywhere?

Sorry no and back in 2019 Luke mentioned possible removal but know that would affect a lot of older installs.

Yes if switch is removed it would be collapsed somewhere in the code.  But would affect users that do not want a collapse view also.

Nobody should be using it as a personal preference. It is a switch that was added for migration purposes. Anyone using this because they prefer it is relying on something that is not being tested which means anything could happen.

@Luke At the same time you have old installs that are configured that way as my original install has most libraries and system.xml that are false.  So when/if it ever changes that entire system will rebuild.
