I don't remember either of these issues in 4.7.7.0 or earlier.

Open a library, invoke Setting dlg, observe:

a) no <- arrow or any other way to dismiss the dlg
b) the dlg is off center

Hi, it is centered underneath to the icon that you clicked, and if the screen is large enough, it will be right under the icon as well.

Have you tried clicking outside of the dialog?

@Luke I figured out in part why this was blowing my mind.

1) There is no proper way to close the dialog, which is not like the rest of Emby.
2) The Live TV Settings dlg is both centered and has an exit/close button.

It doesn't really need a close button when it's not filling the screen. You can just click outside of it. For example, the 3-dot context menus don't have a close button but I imagine you've figured out how to close them, right?

Well, I pointed out inconsistency and usability.  Do with it what you want.

Yeah, I just close the browser and open it back up.  LOL

Well all Library options (sort, filter, settings/menu) are that way and item options have a back arrow.

But agree not every option need a back arrow.

Yes both of these are changes from 4.7.6.0 to current versions.

The back arrow has never been a requirement to click as all dialog/pop-up menus close clicking outside of them.  Unless on screen with limited real-estate.
