Jarkkoooo 2
Hello, My server is running on a Synology DS218+ NAS with 7 external hard drives. For all series and movies I had these 10 second images generated. This took many days to do. These were not stored with the media, but are somewhere in the system folder of Emby. To save power I would like to run the server and hard drives on a Windows PC. The hard drives would then be connected locally and all libraries would get new paths. What is the best way to move all of this without having to redo this days worth of work for the 10 second images? Can anyone help? Thanks!!! Luke 36997
@Jarkkoooo your best bet is to move the entire server installation, including the data folder. beyond that we don't currently have a way to migrate these unless they are stored with the media. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

But since they are by media filename in /metadata/library someone who knows how to write scripts could come up with a way.
