Being someone who is not very knowledgable about this stuff and mistakes were made in the initial setup I think I may have come to the conclusion of starting over/fresh with my NAS.

I will put that all in the QNAP or Hardware section but what I want to know is, are there specific EMBY folders that I should transfer first to my external HD's to help make the reload easier and quicker? and any other steps or procedures?

I know I have an EMBY Metadata folder that is somewhere around 2.5tb's.

My NAS is just my media server with all my movies and tv series ripped 1:1.

All of it is backed up on external HD's on the same network.  Everything meaning just the movie/show not the images/poster art etc so it's simple to load it all back and I have GIG internet with no caps for any info that will need to be downloaded.

Hi,  you could just install fresh and then copy over the entire program folder over from the previous installation. That would get you back up and running quickly.

Hey Luke.  I am doing a total wipe of my NAS because the way it's setup right now it's limiting my storage.
