arrbee99 1544
I've always been a believer in hard-wiring everything I can(i..e gigabit ethernet), but am idly thinking about shifting to wifi, mostly, of course, for Emby within the house. Are there any problems streaming full, as is, 4K DV / Atmos / whatever movies via wifi to a Shield Pro and maybe an Apple TV 4K (any 4K Firesticks) that anyone's found ? (never had ethernet installed properly so its wires round the edge of rooms and under sofas etc...)
Luke 36887
I think a Wifi6 based setup would be a pretty attractive option.

rbjtech 4170
Placement of multiple (wired) AP's will give you a much better chance of wireless success. imo Wifi 6 is unnecessary and will give you very little over Wifi 5. Even Wifi 4 should be able to deliver 4K streaming speeds without issues. Edited August 1, 2022 by rbjtech
