Bigmack3000 84
As long as I bring over the nfo files with everything else, will Emby remember each show's watched status after I rescan them in?
GrimReaper 3289
Watched status is not written in NFOs; use Server Configuration Backup plugin for restoring User data (playstates, favorites, etc).

Bigmack3000 84
Thanks. I'll get this plugin set up. Just to give a few more details. I currently have film and tv on one nas. I bought a second nas to transfer tv shows on to. But the emby server will remain on the original nas. I'll download the plugin to be safe, but should I expect to lose any information when I point emby to the new folder location for TV?
Happy2Play 8281
As long as items have providerids watch status is maintained. Items that do not have providerid metadata will lose watched states when moved.

Bigmack3000 84
Do I need to install emby on the second nas as well? Or can i just direct emby to that folder?

Bigmack3000 84
Would I use the "shared network folder" option to add it?
