wwwter 2
If i try to play a file, but it does not play because of a playback error, emby immediatly marks it as watched...... this should not happen. i did not watch it. i feel this is unwanted behaviour, do you agree?

Luke 36884
Hi, I think you can argue this one either way. Can we please look at an example? Thanks.
wwwter 2
I try to play a video file (series episode) which should play, but currently doesnt because of linux file permission problems which i wont get into here. It is then marked as played, so when i want to try again later i have to look up the file in the media section, because it has disappeared from "latest" etc. sometimes i forget to uncheck played and have missed episodes because of this. i dont think logfiles will be useful in this case, it is just a question of how the software should behave when faced with a playback error. I think it should only mark files as played when they have been played 9x%, not after a playback error (no compatible streams found)
