Can I save background in local folders?

Visit https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44001159102-movie-naming and scroll to 'Video images' for a complete list of image types and their naming conventions.

backdrop.ext is one option for background images.

I can not put backdrops on my own, I'm probably doing something wrong.
I put in the backdrops folder a background file with the name "backdrops.jpg".
For some reason it does not change the background for me

Do you have your movies in individual movie folders?

Yes, each movie with its own folder

Try moving the image out of the 'backdrops' folder and into the main movie folder. Then rename the image to 'backdrop.jpg'.

You may need to 'Refresh Metadata' on the item.

Leave 'Replace existing images' UNCHECKED and set the dropdown option to 'Search for missing metadata'.

There's no such thing as a backdrops folder for images. I would compare your file naming to the guide linked above.

Did you try 'Refresh Metadata' yet?

This is how the folder is organized.
The logo and poster appear correctly.
As you can see only the background does not

What I did notice was the emby server web
At first the background remains unchanged, after a few seconds when I move the mouse the background changes to my and immediately returns to the previous background

I think emby has a hard to choosing which background to put from the folder the or the defulat from the tmdb site

As far as I know, if you have multiple backdrops, they should rotate/cycle every 30 secs or so; why don't you just delete that extra fanart.jpg?

The fanart you see is not in my local folder. emby take it from tmdb.
And when I put in my local folder file as a backdrop emby do not select it over the fanart. This is what I understood ...

Probably it was already downloaded and then you added a local one. Try using the image editor to delete the one you don't want.

Where was it downloaded? I have no other backdrop file in the folder other than what I put ...
