filename blacklist

Too many filenames contain resolving power and Audio information, is it possible to add a user setting to set a blacklist if the filename contains characters from the blacklist, these characters will not be recognized as a certain episode or a certain season, like some File names containing 1920x1080 will be recognized as 1920 episodes, maybe can skip the recognition of these numbers

Something like this will be automatically recognized as episode 1920, which is completely redundant. If I want to modify it, I need to modify all the file names, or manually set the number of episodes. And there are almost not so many TV series at present, can you add a blacklist, blacklist Roster strings and numbers will not be recognized as episodes or seasons

From that screenshot there is no Season or Episode numbering, so Emby tries to get it from all the additional info in the filename.

As resolution is used as Season and/or Episode numbering.

In the end it is still unidentified.

I can see the problem here that some info could clash with other information.

if it’s a very rigid and strict naming convention then this could be used, but if its random then its not 99.8% guaranteed to get the correct info.

best thing is to let them leave the mediaInfo also in the title and come up with some oher naming convention

True and in my opinion a plugin specifically for anime needs to be create as the majority of those will fail as the do not conform to anything that can be searched on TMDB or TVDB ie the KB naming scheme requirements.

yes , Almost all anime episode titles cannot be searched for episode-related content in TMDB and TVDB

Maybe can add separate emby type  library ?

At the same time scene/release group naming is irrelevant to a personal media collection.  And depending on the country those files/downloaed would/could be illegal. 

Do any metadata provider site contain this naming?

Yeah, at this point, with those items not having any sort of recognizable season/episode numbers nor any ability to really get proper metadata for them, they should not be in a TV content type library.
