metropical 29
local, with TCL/Roku, no problem. local on Android on wifi, NP. Can't log in from Android phone or MacBook tethered to android cell for "remote" connect. Not with Emby connect either. MBA in house via either the LAN or WAN address on same wifi as server, shows up with old server folders and files that were changed a month ago. can't seem to get it to see updated info. ext IP is correct. Double checked pw. Network/Enable automatic port mapping. is checked Network/Allow remote connections to this Emby Server. is checked. Restarted router no change. I've never had to use Port Mapping, so there isn't any. Server v4.7.1 on Big Sur Gotta be something dumb easy. Luke 36816
Quote I've never had to use Port Mapping, so there isn't any. Hi, maybe this would be a good idea to setup? Also why not update to emby Server 4.7.5?
metropical 29
one mistake in my post. v4.7.1 on High Sierra as that's the highest I can take the MP3,1 for OS. So 4.7.5 is for later OS, correct? I forgot to post a log too. That was dumb. If you see nothing there, then I guess I'll set up PF. embyserver-63792921601.txt

Solution metropical 29 Posted July 20, 2022 Author Solution Share Posted July 20, 2022 set up port forwarding [Firewall was on] and seems to be OK. dunno why I needed this changed though. same router, OS etc. Only thing that changed was a new HDD in the server. Perhaps FiOS made some changes on their end.
