emby v2.0.77g audio issue eac3, ac3, dolby atmos google tv

hallo...

i have problem with audio when play movie file with dolby digital plus audio, dolby atmos.

the sound doesnt seems right, it feels like the sound is too low.

but when i play with media player from the tv, the sound is good.

what happen with this version?

can u guys solve it? thanks

Yes, thanks.  It appears your system doesn't support that audio format so it is internally mixing it down to stereo.  This would cause a loss of dynamic range and potentially make it sound quieter.

Are you playing just on the TV speakers?

i dont get it.

but when i play with v2.0.70 the audio sound perfect. why can be?

i think the issue its not my player, its on the app when update to v2077.

 

no, i play with soundbar ht rt3 via hdmi arc.

If you have that version installed somewhere, can you send a log from the app right after starting playback of the same item as before?

Hi.  There was no playback in that log.  Please play the item for a few seconds and then send the log directly from the cog menu on the OSD.

What do you mean by the other app being "heavy"?

i mean, my tv is low specification, so cannot play the movie with that android phone app.

stuck when i start the file. i just hear audio only in 1 second, no visual, then the app was freeze.

 

what can i do now?

i already send log information, but u dont get it.

I am receiving your logs it is just that the device is compressing the information so much that I cannot see the information I want to.  Not your fault but the last log looks like it was sent before logging in and did not have any playback.

I was hoping to see if there was a difference between how the item is being played between 70 and 77.

if u dont receiving my log, i dont know what to do anymore.

i just hope u guys can fix the audio issue from v77.
