mixdkins 4
Greetings all, I have an Episode miscount issue: I have used the naming convention of "Garfield and Friends S01E01E02E03 - Episode title.mp4" , "Garfield and Friends S01E04E05E06 - Episode title.mp4" etc. Yet emby only picks up that there are 13 episodes in season 1, 26 in season 2, etc for a total of "123" (which is really 120 groups of 3 + 3 individual episodes) The stats page also doesn't reflect correctly at all, really if naming convention is to be E01E02E03 it should understand that to be 3 episodes, not 1. Now I do have 3 episodes in this series that are not part of a group and are in fact individual episodes. Rather than me having to file split everything to show the appropriate counts, I'm hoping there is a fix to this, since emby is smart enough to understand that there is Episodes 1-3 in a file, that it could reflect the proper episode counts in both the main tv page/series page and stats section. As always, appreciate everything you all do! Edited June 21, 2022 by mixdkins missed something
Luke 36880
Hi, yes those numbers are based on episode files, so that's why you're seeing that.
mixdkins 4
Hey Luke, is there any plans on fixing this so that it can read by the naming convention as well?
Dan833 7
You will have to name them like this https://thetvdb.com/series/garfield-and-friends/seasons/official/1 https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/4606-garfield-and-friends/season/1 Imdb has your naming convention but i don't think they have a public api, so no scraper, as my knowledge goes. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094469/episodes?season=
rodainas 188
If you use a nfo files trough a media scraper like tmm you could get imdb episode style.

Thanks for the reply!
