e-charge 6
Afternoon all. I'm experiencing a couple of issues with my setup. The first is that recordings only record a portion of some shows which I've scheduled. This could be 20 minutes of an hour long show, it could be 1 second. I don't have any logs relevant to this issue to hand at the moment but wanted to mention it in case it was a known issue. I had this issue a while ago, with NextPVR and a BlackGold BGT3600 hybrid tuner, but moved to the tuner specified below, hoping that the integrated compatibility with a Hauppauge card would resolve this, removing NextPVR as a potential factor for failure. I do however, have logs for the second issue I'm experiencing: After successfully being able to watch some live TV, for an indeterminate amount of time, channels will no longer load when selected. This occurs on both the Nvidia Shield and using my phone. MS Windows 10 Pro x64 - 21H2 Intel i7-3770K 16GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 Hauppauge WinTV HVR-5525 (150xxx Hybrid DVB-T/T2/S/S2) WinTV 10 (10.0.40118) Actions performed: Rotated logs at 09:46. Tried Blaze channel (freeview OTA)(wicked Tuna). Result - returns to EPG "unable to tune channel at this time". Tried NHK channel (freesat)(Sumo something). Result - Sits blanks and times out back to EPG. Performed Emby server restart. Tried both channels again. Result - sits at blank screen with swirly. Restarted PC at 10:06. Tried Blaze channel - plays successfully (The Liquidator). Tried NHK channel - plays successfully (Newsline). I snagged all logs from this period so please let me know which ones you would like me to upload and I'll get them posted. Any help would be much appreciated. e-charge 6
Anyone? It's stopped working again and even a reboot of the entire machine doesn't resolve it this time. Cannot watch live TV at all on any device as it complains of a lack of streams. Nothing is being watched or recorded elsewhere.
Luke 36886
Hi, there's nothing obvious yet. Have you updated to Emby Server 4.7.1?
e-charge 6
Hi Luke I have been on 4.7.1 while experiencing the issue and have since seen the server update to 4.7.2 with no change. The server has since been restarted and the PC rebooted with no change - still unable to tune any channels via either DVB-T or DVB-S. FYI: I have confirmed that I can watch live TV using the WinTV 10 app directly. Thanks, Elliot.

e-charge 6
Morning So...I performed an update of the WinTV software yesterday (as a minor one was available as of a couple of weeks ago), after which, channels started to work again for the remainder of the day. I've gone to watch something just now and the issue has manifested again, but only when trying to view Freeview channels. Weirdly, the one channel I have tuned via the FreeSat tuner (on the same card) DOES work. Log files modified at this time attached, as requested. Hi Luke I've since added a Hauppauge quad freeview tuner to the mix and all seems to be behaving itself...for now. I can't get hold of an HDHomeRun at the moment but as soon as they're available, I'll be switching over to that. Thanks for your help. L
