Not recognising certain Recorded Shows...

Up until recently Emby has been working great, but for some reason there are some recorded shows that are not being picked up correctly by the fetchers and I end up with all of the Recordings in a 'Season Unknown' state.

What is strange is that the episode description is being picked up correctly - see second attachment...

have included the log file if this helps.

Hi, what metadata fetchers are enabled on the library and in what order? Does the top provider have an episode for that date?

see attachment below...

TVDB does have an entry for match of the day but it's a different number to that in the log...

according to TVDB the episode ID is:

https://thetvdb.com/series/match-of-the-day/episodes/9111641

and yet the server log is looking for:

I think we found the right series but the guide data may not have enough info to determine exactly which episode of the day that it is.

I have the same issue with 'Match of the Day 2' which doesn't have a repeat episode the next day...

the other thing is that the episode is being described correctly:

Gary Lineker introduces highlights of Saturday’s six Premier League fixtures, including the clash between top-four rivals Arsenal and Manchester United.

where is it getting that from but then failing to put the season and episode numbers in the meta data?

The guide data probably just didn't have season and episode numbers.

that description is specific to the episode though... its not a generic description.

OK it's because the guide data gives us a zap2itid which we try to use to look it up on tvdb, and since tvdb doesn't have that id on file you get no results. I'm pushing an update to the tvdb plugin to have this fallback to searching by name in that case.
