esportare libreria emby da pc a qnap

ho creato e configurato il mio server emby sul pc e tutto funziona molto bene. mi sono accorto che se non ho acceso il pc dove è installato il server emby ovviamente non è visibile. ho pensato allora di installare emby direttamente sul mio nas qnap e utilizzando la vostra guida, ci sono riuscito. Adesso però come posso importare la libreria del server emby sul pc nel nuovo server emby su qnap?

purtroppo non ho risolto. ho dovuto re-impostare di nuovo la libreria sul server emby installato su qnap. ho provato il plug-in backup ma forse non ho ben capito come utilizzarla. A proposito, come si utilizza?

 

E un altra domanda grazie : se aggiungo un nuovo media alla cartella su qnap, emby non aggiorna automaticamente? plex, per esempio, immediatamente dopo aver aggiunto un nuovo media, aggiornava da solo la libreria. comunque, gran bel programma emby. credo che non utilizzerò più plex

questo risolto. ho visto che emby aggiorna quasi immediatamente un nuovo inserimento in libreria @cayars

Most NAS boxes are build on some form of leanback linux OS like Debian.  Linux users a process known as iNotify that typically needs setting up or adjusting as you add more files to the system as it's set rather low by default.  What iNotify does essentially is throw an event that a program like Emby can listen for that says "new file added here", "file modified/changed here", "file removed".  Basically it let's subscribers listen to see what's changed added, deleted from the file system.  Without iNotify setup Emby will update libraries during the nightly events or when ever you've set it up to run.

You can find more info on the iNotify and Watches on this page for Synology but it's more or less a linux/nas thing.  The commands if not exactly the same would be just a google search away for something like "check QNAP iNotify & Watches status" or "setting QNAP iNotify & Watches".

Syntax is the easy part.  Knowing the real-time-monitoring RTM is reliant on iNotify/Watches is the tricky part but is documented on Linux, NAS forums as well as many threads here on our forum.  If you can when unsure of something try a keyword or two in our knowledge base to see if something comes up. RTM or real-time-monitoring would have found it.
