So I've got myself an Acer Revo RN96 (8GB version) and I can't really find anywhere the transcoding capabilities, It's essentially a mobile CPU (2C4T i3 1115G4) and the GPU just states Intel UHD Graphics without any model like others I have seen. Majority of my content is H265 at least 95%, currently I have ~3.5Mbps H265 1080p versions of the 4K Remuxes I have for remote play, would I be better off keeping these or using the iGPU to transcode, as after about 400 odd films the GBs used for the 1080p ones adds up lol (all other 1080p films are this quality too - for ease of remote play). Same for TV shows I have in 4K I have 1080p counterpart. I am thinking of adding another 8GB into it or maybe just getting 2x16GB if this would help.

Looks like you can probably do 5-6 simultaneous transcodes with the CPU of your 1080p stuff, not sure about the 4k https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Core+i3-1115G4+%40+3.00GHz&id=3877.  The RAM is probably fine as is, esp if you turn on GPU transcoding.  Just try it out and see.

I would think being an 11th Gen Tiger Lake CPU - it's got an 11th Gen iGPU in it (probably a 610/620/630) - it's probably downclocked a bit but for decode/encode/transcoding work - that is largely irrelevant.

Intel Core i31115G4 Processor 6M Cache up to 4.10 GHz Product Specifications

As @mastrmind11 says - the best thing is to try it and see :)  - just remember to use the latest intel drivers and the latest emby beta.

You can install the Diagnostics Plugin, reboot, go to "Advanced Transoding" and select "Advanced".
Then you can click on the "i" buttons to get precise capability information for all hw codecs:

The ram will help.  As for transcoding, you should be able to easily do 15-20 1080p transcodes with that beast and probably 5-6 4k transcodes.  I can handle 17 1080p transcodes with my i3-8130U and 3 4k transcodes, and I only have a UHD 620.  Your Tiger Lake processor is a beast for quicksync.  It has a iGPU: Intel UHD Graphics Xe G4 48EUs.
